Sedans have always been behind the pack in terms of speed and style. It was a definite that a sedan wasn\u2019t in the same league as a sports car or even an exotic speedster. Now, Sedans keep up with the low end supercars and high end sports cars. Here\u2019s what i think are 10 of the best sedans in the world for what they do (Present of course). BMW M5: The M5 came out awhile ago, but was recently revamped with, get this, a V10 engine that produces 500 horses. You know what else has 500 horses? The Corvette Z06. The Dodge Viper also had 500 horses. Lamborghini Gallardo has 500 horses. But this sedan, although a pretty penny does exactly what a sedan should. It seats five generously, and can keep up with any supercar on the track. Mercedes E63 AMG: Like the M5, this was also revamped and produces the same 500 horses. And just like the M5 it does the exact same thing. It seats five and in style you can rip up anything on the street. Show up and look good doing it. Audi S8: So Lamborghini is owned by VAG and so it\u2019s only proper if you take a Lamborghini engine and drop it into the Audi S8 premium sedan. One step higher than the Mercedes and BMW previously mentioned, it produces the same stats, and is one class size larger. Fully loaded, and this bad boy is good enough to replace your house\u2026. Lexus LS460L: Lexus has always been known for it\u2019s ridiculous amounts of luxury. Reclining seats, a mini cooler and eight gears. 0 \u2014 60 in 5.5 seconds\u2026if you have to get somewhere fast, it\u2019ll do it. This flagship even parallel parks itself. Who doesn\u2019t want help with that? Lexus LS is the benchmark for cars in this class. Acura RL: Although this is no where NEAR as quick or even as fast as the previous ones mentioned. For 50 thousand dollars, you get nearly everything you want in a car in this class for atleast 10 \u2014 20 thousand dollars cheaper than the Lexus, BMW or Mercedes variant. You can\u2019t go wrong. Add the Super handling All wheel drive to the mix, and you have a car that, despite the lack of power in the low revs, can probably eat up half the other cars in twisties. Who isn\u2019t going to deny Acura reliability? Dodge Charger SRT8: American Muscle at it\u2019s finest. 425 horses all for 50k. Want power, performance and a family hauler. Oh yeah, this is the one to get. Speed is all you need.Infiniti M35\/ 45: Also in the price range of the RL, this car for the price does it ALL. Even the RWD options rips through the gears and the track as if nothing else existed. 320+ horses is all you need in this car to ditch anything behind you. All for a smashing price. Bentley Continental Flying Spur: Bentley is at it again. But if you bought a Bentley it\u2019s because you\u2019re driving it. No doubt behind it. This is a drivers car. But what do you do when your sedan can just touch the 195 mph limit? Well you pray you\u2019re on the autobahn, because this heavy truck isn\u2019t slowing down for anyone. Bye bye M5, E63, S8, RL and any other sedan i\u2019ll probably mention. This is the prime sedan to be in, if you\u2019re driving that is. Rolls Royce Phantom: This car is every where and there\u2019s only one thing to remember. You\u2019re not driving this one, you\u2019re riding. Everything is in this car, automatic rear SUICIDE doors (They open backwards). You show up in this, you\u2019re the best of the best. And i\u2019m sure you know it. Maybach 62S: Well, who knew Rolls Royce would have some competition, but sure enough Mercedes brought the Maybach name. Now transparent roofs, TVs, wireless internet\u2026coolers, recliners\u2026.it\u2019s all you\u2019ll ever need. And i mean ever.Only nine mentioned, but these sedans are what rock the world today. Everyone wants one, everyone may even NEED one at some point (Don\u2019t know how), but they may. And for sedans, these are the best of the best.
